PE Premium Rigid

PE Premium Rigid is a multilayer film intended for lamination. Used as sealant layer in laminates for the production of Doypacks with the option of hot sealing the HDPE spout cap into the packaging. The specially selected formula ensures a hermetic seal also around the spout. The appropriately chosen combination of strength and stiffness of the film allows the packaging to keep its original shape after forming, at the same time ensuring sufficient flexibility in the automatic packing process.

The special design of the stiffening seal makes the Doypack an easy-to-use packaging solution, perfect for displaying liquid products. It is used mainly for packaging liquid soap, concentrates, chemicals and sugar glazing. The specially selected formula guarantees that the film will maintain its original colouring until the use-by date, even with aggressive chemicals such as bleach.

PE Premium Rigid is characterised by a high flatness coefficient, which is a very important parameter in the process of lamination and Doypack forming.

Other advantages of the formula include a wide sealing temperature window, excellent mechanical parameters, high gloss, low haze, as well as high colour saturation in the case of white films (>72%).

All films from the PE Premium Rigid product group have a stable friction coefficient and, depending on the application, can be made in one of the following three versions:

• <0.2
• 0.2–0.3
• >0.3
