PE Premium LTS

PE Premium LTS is a multilayer film intended for lamination. It is used as the sealant layer in laminates. PE Premium LTS is characterised by low seal initiation temperature (<90°C) and excellent hot tack strength, invaluable when packing deep-frozen products on high-speed HFFS machines. It is used mainly for packaging of food products stored in a wide range of temperatures: from -40°C for deep-frozen food to room temperature for bulk products such as coffee. It is characterised by a high flatness coefficient, which is a very important parameter in the lamination process and in the process of packaging at the end customer’s plant. Other advantages of the formula include a wide sealing temperature window and excellent mechanical parameters, high gloss, low haze, as well as high colour saturation in the case of white films (>72%).

All films from the PE Premium LTS product group have a stable friction coefficient and, depending on the application, can be made in one of the following three versions:

• <0.2
• 0.2–0.3
• >0.3
