Description
PE
Premium
Premium PE is a multilayer film intended for lamination. It is used as the sealant layer in laminates for packing mainly food products stored in a wide range of temperatures: from -40°C for deep-frozen food to room temperature for bulk products such as coffee.
It is characterised by a high flatness coefficient, which is a very important parameter in the lamination process and in the process of packaging at the end customer’s plant.
Other advantages of the formula include a wide sealing temperature window and excellent mechanical parameters, high gloss, low haze, as well as high colour saturation in the case of white films (>72%).
Also available in a version with the addition of anti-fog (AF) to prevent the concentration of water vapor in the form of small drops on the foil surface (anti-fogging effect).
All films from the PE Premium product group have a stable friction coefficient and, depending on the application, can be made in one of the following three versions:
<0.2
0.2–0.3
>0.3
Typical laminate structures:
PET/PE Premium
